COVID-19 Update
Over the past month, Team Bassi has made it our mission to work calmly yet proactively preparing for the uncertainty of the Coronavirus (COVID-19).
Everything from researching, planning, ensuring preparedness, isolating efforts, and delivery of our projects has been looked at. Although one can never fully anticipate the impacts that will be felt in these situations, we’ve worked hard to be as proactive as possible.
Our priority is to protect the health and safety of all those involved in our work while keeping projects active and moving forward. Some of the measures we are taking to reduce exposure include, limiting access to sites in order to maintain control of our work environments, daily health checks to include health questionnaires and touchless temperature readings of all staff and subcontractors prior to site access, virtual meetings with colleagues whenever possible and continuous communication with our staff and supervisors.
Bassi is closely following the guidance from the Public Health Agency of Canada and local public health authorities and will continue to monitor the situation in Ottawa as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to evolve. Our office and sites remain open at this time however, we are looking at each operational site to identify risks, delays, and other items that may impact projects.
We’d like to thank you for your patience and cooperation as we navigate this unprecedented situation. Stay healthy and stay safe!
On behalf of Team Bassi,
Ray Licari
President
